The Soothing PacePREMIUM MOBILE WELLNESS

Guide

Dry vs. traditional head spa.

Both are about slowing down. The difference is mostly water, setup and where the visit can happen.

Side by side

How they differ.

Every spa does things its own way, so treat this as a general guide.

Dry head spa

Done with your hair dry. No shampoo, no rinsing, no sink.

Setup: a quiet spot and a comfortable seat.

Where: at home, in a hotel room, at the office or at an event.

Traditional head spa

Many use water and shampoo, often with a wash station.

Setup: a spa or salon with a sink or shampoo bowl.

Where: usually at a studio, so you travel to it.

Which one fits you

It depends on what you want.

If you want to stay put and skip the sink and shampoo, a dry head spa is easy to fit into a busy day. It is the one we bring to you.

If you would rather visit in person, our Denver studio is a fixed location with its own services and online booking. See the studio.

A dry head spa is for relaxation and personal care. It is not a medical treatment.

Questions

Good to know.

Do you offer a head spa with water?

Our mobile visits are dry head spa. For in-person services, see our Denver studio, which has its own menu and online booking.

Why is a dry head spa easy at home?

It needs no water, shampoo or sink, so all we need is a quiet spot and a comfortable seat.

Does a request confirm my appointment?

No. A request is not a confirmed appointment. We check the schedule, assign a technician and send your final quote. Your appointment is confirmed only after you approve it and your 20% deposit is paid.

Where do I see prices?

Every visit is quoted to fit you. The price depends on the service, the length of the visit, how many guests and where you are, so we confirm it personally. You see your exact total, including any travel fee, before you pay. See Services & pricing for what each visit includes.

How is the travel fee set?

It is based on your ZIP code. We tell you the travel fee when you contact us by email or phone, and it is shown in your final quote before you pay.

Where do you come to?

We serve Denver neighborhoods within about 6 miles (10 km) of Cherry Creek. Add your ZIP code to the request and we will confirm whether we can come to you. See where we serve.

What do I need to prepare?

A quiet spot with room for us to set up, and a comfortable place to sit or lie back. We will ask about allergies and sensitivities when we confirm your appointment, so we can plan around them.

Is there anything about parking or access I should tell you?

If you live in an apartment or a building with a gate, elevator or limited parking, add a note to your request. It helps your technician arrive on time and set up smoothly.

Is a tip expected?

Tips are never required. If you would like to thank your technician, it is always appreciated.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing is best, so you can relax fully.

Is there an age requirement?

Our guests are 18 and older. Younger guests must be accompanied by an adult for the whole visit.

What about cancellations and payment?

A 20% deposit holds your appointment. If you cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment, your deposit is refunded. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, the 20% deposit is not refunded. See our cancellation policy and payment policy.
